Students plant seeds, care for the garden, harvest produce, and help prepare or can the
produce — learning science, responsibility, and nutrition along the way.
Children help care for animals while learning about responsibility, life cycles, and food sources.
Students learn things many schools no longer teach — cooking/baking, basics, organizing,
independence, and caring for shared spaces.
Students may grow produce, make handmade items, or create simple goods to sell at a small
student-run market — learning math, business, and stewardship.
Interactive math, science experiments, and project-based lessons.
Instead of only reading about nature, students observe insects, plants, weather, soil, and
ecosystems firsthand.
Rather than just memorizing dates, students experience history through storytelling, crafts, and
hands-on projects.
