Statement of Faith

 At Harvest Salt & Light Academy, our foundation is firmly rooted in the truth of God’s Word. We believe that education is not separate from faith, but an extension of it—shaping not only the mind, but the heart and character of each child.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate source of truth and the foundation for all teaching, learning, and life.

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each fully God, equal in power and glory.

Jesus Christ


We believe Jesus Christ is the son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and gave Himself as a sacrifice for our sins through death on the cross. He rose again in victory and is the only way to salvation, which is received by grace through faith in Him alone as we repent of sin and personally accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

Salvation


We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone—not by works. Through Him, we are forgiven, redeemed, and restored into a relationship with God.

The Holy Spirit


We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within believers, guiding, teaching, convicting, and empowering us to live a life that honors God.

Creation


We believe God is the Creator of all things. Each child is uniquely created in His image, with purpose, value, and God-given gifts. We believe that God intentionally created each person as male or female, reflecting His design and order, and that this distinction is part of His good and purposeful creation.

Christian Living


We believe we are called to live lives that reflect Christ—marked by love, integrity, humility, and truth. We desire to disciple students to grow in their faith, develop a biblical worldview, and confidently walk in their God-given purpose.

The Role of Family and Community


We believe parents are the primary spiritual leaders in a child’s life. Our role is to partner with families—supporting, encouraging, and reinforcing biblical truth in a Christ-centered learning environment.

Through prayer, Scripture, and intentional discipleship, we seek to nurture students who not only grow academically, but who know God, love His Word, and shine His light in the world.
